Teeth Whitening

At Bella Vita Dentistry, patients whose teeth look off-white, tinged, and dull often benefit from professional home whitening. We can provide you with a solution that will oxidize stains in your porous tooth enamel, leaving your teeth many shades whiter than before use. Your whitening kit comes with custom-fitted trays to hold the whitening solution near your teeth. Wear the trays as directed over the course of a week or two and you will notice dazzling results.

Porcelain veneers have been the go-to cosmetic procedure for many people for many years. By covering the front surface of a person’s smile, veneers completely alter a smile and facial appearance. These permanent hand-milled restorations can reshape teeth, close gaps, straighten misaligned teeth, conceal imperfections, and permanently whiten enamel. In the absence of injury or improper care, veneers can last 20 years or longer.

Similar to veneers, bonding corrects a wide range of imperfections.  However, bonding is made from composite resin, the same material used for tooth-colored fillings. Dental bonding will not have the longevity of veneers, but can be used when veneers are financially infeasible. We suggest bonding as a more temporary solution to dental problems, or for children who will lose their baby teeth. However, some people use dental bonding as a more permanent solution, knowing that it will need to be reworked every few years.

Tooth Contouring

Some people develop uneven teeth. While veneers or bonding can address this, in some cases simple contouring can permanently correct these flaws. Contouring means removing a small amount of tooth enamel to even and smooth the edges of teeth, making them more visually appealing.
